But if you are looking for a cheap place (at least compared to other places around) and you are used to low-end motels, this one isn't horrible. Sheets were clean. Breakfast was decent and they tried hard to keep up (it was EXTREMELY busy when we were there, and the employees were hustling to keep the food stocked.)"

"Property was adequate for a nights rest. Maintenance is lacking-shower wall above shower head looks bad. Only one plug in on wall by ironing board worked; Stains on carpet; wash clothes are thin enough to see though. Breakfast had not much to offer for diabetics, no fruit, waffle mix took a very long time to fill cup even halfway. Hot water was Luke warm. I like Super 8 but this one could use some “extra”."

"Drury is the best overall stay for the money. The breakfast is standard fair, but it tastes better than comoetitors. All staff were friendly and courteous. Room had comfortable bed and was clean and scent free. Excellent value for the money."

"This was a terrific hotel! It’s a former Catholic school turned into a cute boutique hotel. Our room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly & very helpful. The town it was located in, Columbia Illinois, was a beautiful small town that was close to St Louis. It made it easy to get to all of our events. We will stay here again when we return to the St Louis area!"

"The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and they offered blackout curtains that actually worked. The breakfast was a step above the average hotel breakfast and the staff were friendly and accommodating. If I had to give any negative feedback, it would be the TV volume could not be adjusted so that I could hear it from the couch or bed. Even at the top volume of 60, I heard enough to know what was happening on a movie but not loud enough to actually hear the monologue."

"I reserved a room with the jets (I have back issues) and thought that would be nice when kiddos went to pool. Well, pool was completely closed and if we would have known we would have reserved a diff hotel. So to try and make things better, hey go use the tub... the jets, none of them worked. Water wouldn't even stay in the tub, slowly drained. There were no snacks down stairs for them to go get chips, banana, nothing! Breakfast was not even worth going down stairs for... no batter for waffles...

"The room itself was very clean, nice decor, and convenient for a longer stay. However, the king bed we had was incredibly firm and we woke up sore both mornings. The stairwell which we were forced to take were smelly because there were garbage bags in the trash receptacles overflowing. The clerk when we checked in was initially very sweet and friendly, but it was clearly shallow, because when we had insight to give in regard to the elevator issues, she was a little rude and condescending.
