"We had to kill 2-3 roaches in our room. The rooms were really outdated because not even usb chargers were available. Price is overkill for the state of hotel.
The sheets were dingy. And towels were dingy too. The pool needed cleaning due to debris but could have been from recent rains.
Staff was nice and breakfast was good."

"Right across the street from beach access. Close to restaurants and stores on the island. The rooms have a small kitchen with a dishwasher, plates and utensils. The room was clean. Parking is kind of tight but not a deal breaker. Customer service was excellent. The free breakfast was your typical hotel free breakfast fair. Room and facilities were clean. Good value."

"This holiday inn was okay. The price was great for a weekend but the hotel is a little rundown. Only one elevator so expect to wait. The pool and hot tub were good as was the breakfast. The location is great...walking distance to whitecap beach."

"When we got out of the elevator on our floor there was a large bag of trash, and several tiles missing in the ceiling. It smelled like mildew in the halls. The first room we walked into had not been cleaned yet, so they switched us to a different room. Then when we got into our new room, there was hair all over the floor of the restroom and the pillowcases were dirty and stained. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a nice clean place to stay. The hotel included breakfast, but i couldn’t...

"Absolutely incredible staff and great experience, my only concern was that almost every outlet wouldn't hold a charging cord. They constantly fell off. The hair dryer in our room was broken as was the shampoo container in the bathroom. Otherwise it was a fun experience."

"The staff at the Hampton were some of the nicest staff members I have ever met at a hotel. The breakfast was excellent!! Couldn’t be better. The hotel may consider getting some new carts for customers to use for unpacking/packing. One cart had a broken wheel and all were very difficult to steer."
