"Excellent property. It is close to everything. I selected it because of the proximity to the old city and the train station. It exeeded my expectations. We were greeted in person, the communication was perfect. Nothing more to wish for."

I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. "The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."

The family room worked especially well for our group of four friends, offering plenty of space and the convenience of two full bathrooms. The main drawbacks are that the property feels quite dated and could benefit from renovations.
