"Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. "Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. "Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. Massive shower and super modern and clean. Highly recommended. "
