"The location was good. I chose it for it's somewhat central location to our travel needs and it felt close enough to everything we wanted or needed to do. The staff were helpful and polite with our very limited interactions with them. The rooms were cleaned and made up every day for us which was unexpected base on our stays elsewhere but a pleasant surprise. A Nspresso type coffee maker was available in the hall which was a nice treat. For travelers expecting USA quality AC, it was lacking. The room was cooler than outside, but never really got that cool. Now we did travel during one of the hottest heat waves, in Aug (which is their hottest month),& to be fair, we stayed in 3 parts of Italy during our trip and it was comparable in all locations. So, I guess that's just a part of traveling to other countries. The shower had great pressure, but could have been cleaned & maintained better. The mini fridge was a joke. Nothing in it got cooler than room temp and there was no adjustment to be found. My full honest opinion is that the room was fine. Nothing amazing, but nothing that would stop me from booking again. We pretty much knew this while booking, it's was not a luxury resort. We needed a comfy, safe and clean room to sleep & shower in while we would spend most of our time out site seeing, eating & exploring. And this room did that perfectly. I would book again, but if you need to be more "taken care of", pampered, or expect the finer things in life, I would look elsewhere."

"We only have great things to say about this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is within walking distance of the Vatican and the metro for all other destinations. The rooms were spacious and clean and extremely comfortable. We showed up a little early, and everyone was so welcoming and even provided a room upgrade. We had an issue in the bathroom and everyone was so kind, apologetic and helpful and allowed us to change rooms immediately. They even sent up a note and macaroons with a bottle of wine the next day while we were out."

"If you need a basic hotel in a great location - close to Vatican and then cross over the bridge and you're 10-15 mins from tons of sights - this is it. But it is basic. Beds comfy enough. AC was fantastic. Bfast was ok, beats heading out on an empty tummy. And front desk guys were just great! Thank you for a really pleasant stay!"
