"Beautifully renovated rooms in a nice part of Prato. Nice bed and linens, great bathroom. Very clean. Steps from Vatican and Castel San Angelo. Cool old elevator. Lots of shops and cafes nearby. Great A/C. Easy to get taxis right out in front of building using app or taxi phone number. (I used FreeNow App all over Rome- very easy)."

"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

"The ‘hotel’ is in a good location between Vatican City and the Pantheon. There are 5 rooms on the fourth floor that make up the hotel and there is a small elevator that will hold 2-3 people and a couple of suitcases. The front desk is attended between 8:00 and 18:00, but you will be given a key and a code to get into the building and the ‘hotel’. We felt very safe at this location. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Giulia set up transportation for us to and from the train...

"I have a good experience stay at cassiodoro. The host stefan superb! He very comunicative, gave the best restaurant and tips to travel in Rome. He help us too when we need a cab when we check out. The place on a quite and safety area, near to vatican city. If you using Metro you walk around 15-20 minutes, and if you using a bus you can get less. Recommend accomodation near to vatican city. "

"The location is fantastic, close to St Peters square and walkable to most of the major sites. Staff was very helpful, the rooms were very functional, not large but we didn’t spend much time in the rooms. We stayed four nights and thought the price was reasonable for what we needed. I would book again."

"The rooms were nice but the check in press was confusing. No one was a the reception desk when we got there and another guest got us in where we had the cleaning lady check us in. It was coordinating via WhatsApp with the manager after that for check in etc. We did enjoy the apartment and the location was good. Just lacking a few utensils and amenities like body lotion but we liked it."
