is great. The location is great. We were there when it was very, very hot, so I can understand why the staff were a little disinterested in working. The rooms are really nice with the balcony. Unfortunately because the property is not as well cared for as it may have once been, there are several openings where the cockroaches sneak in. That was I’m only complaint. "

"The hotel is located a bit of a walk to the tourist zone, where you can find restaurants and coffee shops. That said, Palenque itself has a lot of nice restaurants to choose from, and the downtown area felt safe to walk around. Personally I would stay closer to downtown next time. The hotel was nice enough, we arrived on a Thursday, and it looked like the

was not looked after. By Friday this was resolved, it seems they clean the

"3rd summer in a row visiting Palenque and this is our to go hotel, staff is always nice, friendly and respectful. We did have a small leak due to heavy rain but we are not super picky guests. Just hope they cleaned the pool tiles."

"Beautiful and quiet location with delicious included american breakfast (especially the huevos rancheros). Friendly staff, nice pool, nice river, plenty of wild animals. Well worth the price. The only downside is the bar : the staff was not friendly and there was no wifi in this area. "
