"i booked the general hotel room and don’t opt for the all inclusive service. i emailed th hotel informing the of my late arrival and requested a shuttle but never heard back. at the airport i saw the driver from the hotel and asked him if i could get a ride and he directed me to a taxi. upon arrival, the front desk staff was nice enough and confirmed they received my late check in a. airport pickup request but didn’t say that either was confirmed simply that they received it. once in my room, There was an immediate odor, smell could have been from the ac being off. the sheets didn’t appear to have been changed, or maybe they were washed nicely, there were some small stains, the breakfast selection was small and didn’t taste or look very good. i ordered a vegetarian wrap with room service and received very hard toasted with raw carrots, and cucumbers and tomatoes, with soggy fries . i also ordered a fruit salad which was slimy, and a glass bottle of soda with no bottle opener. the refrigerator in the room didn’t work, the shower was dirty, the towels were extremely rough and over washed. it didn’t feel like a barcelo brand but more like a. best western. i also tried the hama spa and the service was poor. the description of the service included a body and head massage and a facial and each service felt rushed and poorly delivered. perhaps the staff isn’t trained well. there is no business center to work if you need to. gratuities are expected and even if you tip well they wo"

"Hotel was nice clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was all AMAZING especially Fatima she did my welcome meeting and helped in finding the best excursions and tours.The hotel spa was also AMAZING did my first hammam massage and it was great, had an amazing experience. The food was ok, being in morocco i really wanted that authentic Moroccan cooking but unfortunately the hotel was more mordern in the foods. After 2 nights and the food was the same i ate dinner out the rest of the time. Alcoholic beverages were weak and watered down even shots were watered down. The hotel does offer nightly entertainment like karaoke, shows, live band music etc. but by11pm everything is closed and over for the day. No food, drinks, nothing after 11pm. So again went out most nights. Rooms was ok clean and comfortable, even though room was cleaned daily towels and sheets were not changed had to ask for new ones. Overall ok stay hotel grounds are gorgeous and hotel is gated with security."
