"The Palm Mountain resort was a nice place. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water our first day and the maintenance staff got it fixed pretty quick. The resort is in a great location - mountains in the background and one block over from the main downtown area. It would have been nice if they would have had a continental breakfast included- it can get pretty pricey to eat out every day. The room did have a microwave so a grocery store trip made breakfast meals in the room more economical. The only complaint I had is the pool didn’t appear to be filtered continuously. Every morning the maintenance team would scoop out the bugs and leaves etc, but by mid day the pool had a lot of stuff floating in it. Seemed like there was not a constant filtration running."
