Although we only stayed for one night, we found the Saguaro quite nice. The lobby was bright, the front desk staff was friendly, and the room was clean. We'd like to stay longer next time so we can use the pool and the other amenities. Our rate also included breakfast which was quite good. Friendly restaurant staff as well.

Pros: Large room was very clean when we arrived; delicious breakfast; bikes; mist machines at the pool; excellent margaritas. Cons: Lumpy uncomfortable beds; thin walls; dirty A/C and bathroom fans; pool water, pool deck and loungers not clean; gross smell in hallways; understaffed restaurant. Overall this is an aging property with bright paint and furnishings to mask its imperfections. The price was fair but we were not very comfortable.

Th hotel has a nice vibe but it’s definitely run down. The pool overlooks the mountains and is large and the whole style of fun and playful. The loungers are dirty and old and there weren’t enough towels when we were there so we had to sit right on them. There also weren’t enough umbrellas so it was super hot in the suns th rooms are spacious and clean but dated and run down. El Jefe was an excellent meal and the service was good. The hotel could be really awesome but it needs a pretty big reno to bring it back to life. But, for the price is was fine and about what i expected.
