Check-in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even late at night, the two gentlemen working were kind and professional, I even brought cake down to share with them for my daughter’s birthday, and the interaction was genuinely pleasant.
During our stay, there were a few issues I chose not to complain about, including stains on the pull-out mattress, decorative pillows that were not properly assembled, and a TV in the bedroom that I had nothing on it no Guide shows movies nothing for my son. and when I checked in the Wi-Fi information didn’t work, but None of these were reported because they were not a major concern at the time and we still enjoyed the evening.
Unfortunately, the experience changed after checkout. Despite leaving the room clean and organized (trash bagged and tied, decorations cleaned up, balloons popped and disposed of), multiple attempts were made to charge my card for alleged damages. When I called to ask about this, I was told the room was “trashed,” which was absolutely not accurate. I requested to see the photos that were referenced, but they were never provided. I was then told not to worry because the charges didn’t go through, yet my bank continued sending alerts for attempted charges afterward.
It’s disappointing that an otherwise nice stay ended this way. The lack of transparency and repeated charge attempts were very concerning and overshadowed the positives.
