"The property itself is nice, but there were a few issues that affected our stay. The walls are quite thin, and the hotel is loud. Because the property hosts events like wedding receptions and conferences, there were many people walking the halls late at night and early in the morning, and we could hear every single word. The room above us had a crying baby, and the lack of sound insulation made it feel as though the noise was coming from inside our own room.
We also had a disappointing experience at the pool area. It was quite chilly, and the heaters and fire pits were out of propane. Since our kids were excited to swim, we asked staff if the heaters could be turned on. We were told they would take care of it, so we ordered food and planned to enjoy the patio restaurant by the pool. However, after 20 minutes, nothing had been done. We asked again and were told maintenance was on the way, though the staff member seemed irritated. After waiting an additional 30 minutes with no update, we followed up once more and were met with further annoyance.
By the time maintenance finally arrived, our kids had already gotten out of the pool, and we ended up taking our meals to-go because we were too cold to stay. It was disappointing, especially since we had planned a girls’ weekend and booked multiple rooms specifically to enjoy the pool, outdoor patio, and restaurant. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to fully use those amenities due to the lack of functioning heaters. "
