"The Parador de Lerma was delightful - a lovely building and charming staff. Parking was very easy in front of the Parador. The central atrium is a great place for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. The Parador is right in the middle of town so everything is within easy walking distance - having said that, there isn’t too much to see and we saw everything that we wanted to see in one day. "PRO: The location is just next to the cathedral. CONS: The lady at front desk (Carmen) was very dismissive and not courteous at all. NO PARKING unless you reserve it in advanced, and it seems that they only have a few spaces nearby. Impossible to reserve in advance if they never pick up the phone. We chose this hotel for the parking convenience paying more for the room than other hotels in the area without parking. We were surprised that at check in they were offering rooms on the website...

"This posada was a perfect stop on our drive to Portugal. It’s just off the main road in a very quiet rural village. The hotel has a cafe/bar and a restaurant with a few decent choices for a set meal which included three courses, a bottle of wine and water for 25 euros a head. The room was good with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. All perfect for a quick overnight spot."

"Las chicas de recepción fueron muy amables. El Check-in se hace en un bar del pueblo. El baño de la habitación, estaba separado por un cristal temperado y te pueden ver sin problema (hay ranuras y la privacidad es nula). Hay que tener cuidado con el letrero del hotel (está que se cae).La habitación 104 olía a desagüe. La cama de matrimonio es comodisima. La hab 104 olía un poco a desagüe. "

"Great to have good air conditioning when needed. Parking and ease of access from the motorway is just perfect. Love the cafeteria attached to the hotel too excellent value quick food served by friendly staff. Plenty of petrol stations near too. Short taxi ride into Burgos historic centre but the free parking offsets this small cost. This was not my first visit and we will be back it’s an ideal two night stopover to visit Burgos."

"Very clean and tidy throughout. We had a lovely room with a terrace. The staff could not have been more helpful. We will definitely stay there again when in Burgos. There is a large secure garage which accommodates European family saloons. Note you must draw up to the hotel and unload. Park in the garage and return up the hill via the stairs. But for us it was 5 star"

"The rooms were clean. Lo ee the large soft bath towels. When we checked in we were not told breakfast would be late on Friday due.to a holiday. The gentlemen who checked us out in the morning was awesome he got us a couple crescents from.the breakfast area knowing we were not able get our breakfast we paid for. He also brought our bag out to our car"

"Great location , if you drive be aware that there are road barriers to get into the town, you can drive up and push a button and they will lower the barriers. This was NOT communicated to us in advance , others had the same issue. Parking is under the hotel and VERY tight, need a small car."
