The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards. Sand was present throughout the room, the linens appeared unclean, and both the air conditioning and heating were nonfunctional. The pull-out mattress was in poor condition, with visible stains and what appeared to be pest droppings. Despite being a non-smoking property, the room had a persistent smoke odor, and we were incorrectly charged for it, even though no one in our party smokes. I would not recommend this property.

The Tv didn't work out the whole trip the rooms were run down and didn't look clean. There was sand in the beds when we 1st checked in.. The staff didn't have a lot of answers they gave me a business card and advised that the manager was the only one who could give a refund. Which was weird to me it seems to me that you would have an on-call manager or a manager on site to answer questions. It's a poor location I won't return to this property. Poor customer service. Each time I asked a question they advised the person to speak to wasn't there. I won't advise me or family to return to this location....

I have stayed at this property several times in the past and it’s just declined in last few stays. This recent stay was horrible. We had to go to local store and purchase cleaning supplies to reclean our room. Also my son and my nephew broke out with bites and hives from something that was in and on the bedding. It was another family complaining of bed bugs. We saw roaches in our room. We don’t complain much so we decided to make the best of the stay and try to clean our room and change bedding to accommodate ourselves since we would be only sleeping in room not spending time in it. We didn’t see bed bugs necessarily but something broke my son out in what appeared to be bites we have pictures of conditions of room. The pool and beach location give it a advantage otherwise I will never book here again

The internet was down most of the nights, One of the beds was broken, and no pots or pans, only lids. It was nice for the price ! The pool was the kids favorite!

The view was stellar, but the accommodations were a bit rough. The Jacuzzi didn’t work, the AC didn’t work. The heater didn’t work. The shower drain didn’t drain. The AC unit outside was broken. The windows and doors were all dirty.The elevator was broken. the Jacuzzi and pool were super dirty. I could see why this place was cheaper than other places in the area. It was a rough crowd there too. But the view from the balcony and the location were stellar.

The bar was awesome but my room was completely dirty the bathroom was nasty..I told front desk and they sent someone to clean it but they didn't do anything because everything was the same. So after a long drive we had to clean our own room.. the three days I was there I didn't want any service because I wanted my room to stay clean like we had it...but other than that everything else was nice

Having direct beach access was great and our boys enjoyed the pool. Parking on the property was extremely limited. There’s no kids play area as advertised. 1 out of the 2 elevators were out of service the whole time.

This was my second time staying at this location . For everything you get as far as being on the beach and waking up to walk out on your balcony which overlooks the ocean, our room was spacious and cozy and having the little kitchenette was very helpful , the price you can not beat!!! The pool area is beautiful and that bartender poolside makes the best pina colada’s! The only negative is that the beds were not comfortable, mattresses not firm at all. Being the second time being here and fist time being last June , the hot tub was nice and hot but jets did not work . So was hoping it would be in working order this round and it was not . We still enjoyed it but would have been nice if it worked this round. All in all we love this place! And will be back!

Location is amazing, beautiful view, and great price point. Going out on the balcony always guaranteed a beautiful view, but also the smell of weed. Two elevators, but one was down the entire week of a very busy spring break. One elevator with max of 6 people for 7 floors AND cleaning staff meant waiting for the elevator ALOT. Property condition is worn and need of a lot of updates. The lobby was by far the nicest area, with the remainder of the property in need of a lot of help. The tiki bar was amazing-great drinks and a very friendly bartender everyday. You couldn’t order food every day-some days they had no cook on staff. Pool towels were always hard to come by. Our room was never serviced in a 7 day stay so we had to ask front desk for towels and took out our own trash. Bottom line-you get what you pay for. Every room has the ocean view. And if you’re ok with giving up normal hotel perks for a more cost effective stay, this place will do the job. If you expect a 3 star or above-head elsewhere.

The only good thing here was the view. The room was not clean well. The tub had sand, the dishes were dirty, the stove didnt work well. Went to office to inform them that the floor was dirty and the beds had sand on them, noone ever came to change the sheets or anything. The smell of weed throughout the day was not fun at all, smoking by the pool. Couldnt even open the balcony door because the smell was strong.

Sink upon entering room...has food in drain. No shower curtain...jets in hot tub..out of order .. elevator out of order...beds were thin mattress and uncomfortable... beach view was great..staff in lobby were great and housekeeping upon request were very prompt. Just wish they could do some painting and work on property .. great value though... love it that all rooms are oven front and are equipped with kitchen...and separate bedroom...I would stay there again because reasonable prices

The hotel is reasonable priced. It is older no updates but fairly clean. The problem was that the hot tub was not hot and the jets were not working. I informed the front desk the response was that they were trying to find a company to repair it. It had not bee working on arrival and was not repaired upon check out. Very disappointed. Should not be charging a resort fee or at least lower the price.

During my stay, I had concerns about the cleanliness of the room. However, the situation became far more serious when I received news that my brother had passed away. At approximately 8:30 AM, I contacted Expedia regarding canceling the remainder of my stay since I had purchased trip protection. I was informed that as long as the hotel approved the cancellation, I would be refunded for the unused nights. Expedia then contacted the hotel directly. At the front desk, I was told to wait until management arrived at 10:30 AM. My family and I waited. When management arrived, Leslie Colman assured me we would be refunded and instructed us to pack up and check out. We vacated the room as quickly as possible and then requested a receipt confirming the refund. We were told no receipt would be provided and that we would receive an email. When we asked for confirmation in writing, the situation escalated. Housekeeping Manager Krystal called the police after we simply requested proof of the agreed refund. This was extremely distressing while dealing with a death in my family. Had the refund been denied upfront, I would have stayed. Instead, I relied on management’s word and complied fully. This experience raises serious concerns about the reliability of Expedia’s trip protection, as I followed the proper process and was not supported. I request a full refund for unused nights and a formal explanation.
