It was absolutely wonderful. You just may need to bring your own soap for one of the bathrooms. Perhaps that was not typical though. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the property, the view of the water, and the easy-to-use AC.

Location was good. Near a main street through Casco Viejo but quieter since a couple blocks away. Apartment newly renovated, clean and reasonably spacious for the price. But kitchen very basically equipped with limited utensils etc. needed for any real cooking. King bed comfortable but "hot" water was more like "warm" water. Air condtioning worked but needed to set bedroom to 16 or 17 C and kitchen/living area at 23-24 C to end up on average comfortable. Entry instructions were not clear that a key box between the exterior door and a second interior door would have a card as well as key with the card opening the second door. Wynwood sent several messages via Expedia but failed to answer any of the messages we sent back with questions, asking for entry instructions a day early due to our travel, asking for more soap/shampoo (since we were staying 9 days) or confirming OK if we did not check out until closer to Noon due to flight schedules and lack of any place to store luggage after checking out. So don't count on communication with management, at least not that way. So on balance a good place but not 5 star.

BEWARE!!!

The apt was ok. It was clean and somewhat quiet. The kitchen has nothing to cook with so if you want to do meal prep, bring your own pots and pans. If you’re eating out and need a refrigerator and a small microwave with a coffee pot, you’re fine. BUT….. we had an AC leak which ruined the ENTIRE experience. The ACs are in the ceiling and one of them decided to start pouring water out onto the floor. Luckily my husband found a housekeeper who called the owner. After much back and forth, cancellation of my husband’s business meetings, etc. a crew showed up and “fixed it”. The owner absolutely refused to move us anywhere except to the first floor of the building. I booked a 3rd floor apt for the view, safety, and less noise. We refused saying they could put us in another of their units…?they had lots of vacancies in Casco. Juan, the owner of Wynwood refused saying that other units were more expensive. So we stayed. Woke up the next morning to another flood which soaked my clothes ruining a $200 pair of shoes. We canceled a prebooked $500 excursion and called Juan again. Finally after much arguing he agreed to move us. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE customer service I have ever experienced. Instead of comping the nights, he gave us an $81 refund which I am still waiting for (“up to 20 days”). No compensation for my ruined personal items, cancelled excursions, business meetings which we have to come back for.

At self-check-in, the code they gave us to access the key led us to the surprise of knowing there was no key! Since it was 9 PM, it took a long time to contact customer service via WhatsApp, and it was a very unpleasant experience, uncertain about whether we would have a place to sleep or not. They finally resolved the issue after a cumbersome 40 minutes. Place is nice tough.

Do you want to have an amazing time? When you answer this question I want you to think about all the things that are necessary to have an amazing time. I would like to say that Casa Love is that. The cozy modern style apartment is tucked away in a colorful back street that allows you to view the seas tide from your window. With a 5 minute walk you can be in the heart of the plaza ready to explore nearby historical sites local to the area. The beds are all quite comfortable, I woke up refreshed each time and never sore or uncomfortable. My only concern was with the air conditioning and I promptly was provided additional assistance and then an eventual relocation which I greatly appreciate. The communication with the staff is quick and easy through Whatsapp. Would recommend and would come again!

Was a quiet street just on outskirts of the main hub in Casco. The apartment was really nice and the bed was so comfortable which is super important for me while travelling. I would recommend the host adds a curtain to the window in the kitchen as people can easily see in to the apartment while passing by to get to their own. Felt like a lack of privacy. Otherwise amazing stay!

Great property in a great location. Very secluded in a back street, away from the noisy square, yet close enough to easily walk to various restaurants serving delicious food. Also, very friendly locals, especially Benjamin, who helped me to find a taxi and recommended some good restaurants in the neighborhood.

Great location but sadly the apartment was not very clean with dirty floors, dirty toilet and hair in the basin. There was a large hole in the second bedroom ceiling, which smelled of wet plaster. Great shower and comfortable beds and very central to Casio Viejo, so a shame it was dirty.

Only con about the place is that the walls are paper thin. Bring ear plugs! Apparently roosters don’t only crow during sunrise, they crow all night! And they’re not the only ones. You can hear absolutely everything that is happening outside. But don’t let that deter you from this place. Seems like every hotel in that area is paper thin. It’s a very nice one bedroom apartment that has everything you’ll need. It’s also located near everything. I didn’t realize how tiny the town of Casco Viejo was. You can literally walk the entire area in less than an hour. It's essentially a tourist trap. But if you like that, you’ll love this place.

Casa Contemporanea is a beautiful house with cosy apartments right off Plaza Herrera, in the center of Panama's old town. The area is full of restaurants, bars, shops, it is safe and very walkable. The apartment was very clean, with great amenities and comfortable beds. communication with the owners was swift and always helpful. HIGHLY recommended
