Unfortunately this was the worst short-term rental experience I’ve had. Despite receiving several emails as we approached our check-in date, we did not receive check instructions via email the day we arrived as promised. I wasn’t sweating it because there are multiple references to a front desk in the comms, but there is definitely no “front desk” on site. We were stuck outside on the street with our luggage, the phone listed # on Expedia is disconnected, I sent three messages through Expedia with no response (still), and the # on Google is not correct. We downloaded the Wynwood House app and found a WhatsApp # there, they responded with check in instructions so we finally got into the building, but the access code for the unit was wrong. They sent us another one and we finally got in. The next day, I finally received an email with the (incorrect) unit code. The day of check out, we received instructions about a physical key and lockbox that weren’t relevant. Needless to say, the communication is a mess and I’ll never stay at another Wynwood House property again.
Unit itself has a good view and is nicely furnished (as seen in pics), but it wasn’t very clean, multiple things were broken (two of the patio doors from a bedroom wouldn’t open, overhead light wouldn’t function) and didn’t feel secure. Patio and bedroom doors did not lock, door frame to secure entrance deadbolt was broken and being held on by a piece of wood smaller than a pencil and main handle did not lock.
