"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"Loved the ‘Olde Worlde’ charm and history of the Inn, The only minor fault was that there were no leaflets of surrounding places of interest to visit. However we would would highly recommend This property. Thank you."

"I liked it was a 13th century property because it has a lot of history. Staff were not visible and liquid soap was not replaced for three days in shared toilet. The young bar tender was pleasant and the kitchen was do it yourself catering. So no breakfast served. Cereals, milk and other loose foods were available though this aspect was not clearly communicated from the start. One bathroom had a power shower which was handy, due to the lack of rain I didn't want to use the baths."

"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. "Staff, owners and even guests all friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for owner snd staff. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in spacious, airy comfortable rooms. Plenty of free parking. Frühstück und Abendessen (je einmal) waren gut, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Spektakulär ist die Lage mit Blick auf Tintagel Castle. Der Ort Tintagel sowie das Castle sind fußläufig erreichbar.
