"We loved staying at Donatela resort. It is comparatively remote and not as busy as other resorts in Panglao, it was quite and enjoyable. We traveled with our two toddlers and the kids were always welcomed! The only negative thing about our stay was that one night for dinner we arrived on the later end, the hours at the paprika restaurant said it was open until 9pm, we came around 8:15 because our kids had a late nap from our country side tour. "For a low budget hotel in the Philippines, it was clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, The hotel provides free shuttle service to alona Beach which is 13 minutes away, on most nights, So you can access the restaurants and entertainment. The hotel provides Complementary breakfast 7 to 9 (Filipino style ) which is more than adequate, and Lunch is available between 1130 and 130 and supper between 6 to 8 only(excellent prices). "My wife and I had the best time on our vacation, the service was out of this world, the restaurant food was fantastic, so much to chose from , our stay was for one week and we ate like a King, never had a bad meal and our last night there we had fresh lobster for $17.00 and was a good size to, the hotel staff was the best, I will be returning there again next January.
