"Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot...

"The only issue with the Hotel was the dining room staff/staffing. Service was rather slow on several occasions including one occasion where it took 20 minutes for someone to take our dinner order. Enjoyed the Adventure Trail hike and the grounds were thoughtfully designed. I was too busy hiking in the park to try the spa facility. Perhaps on my next visit..."
"This is a wonderful “family camp” style place to stay. It’s affordable, and close to Yosemite, and offers rooms with multiple beds. But be aware that it’s very much a camp vibe - not hotel or resort. Workers and guests are friendly. Food is good and served in large portions. Overall we enjoyed its rustic charms. "
"Our cabin was roomy and perfect for a snowy weekend. It is an older property that’s been fixed up just enough to be functional, with a bit of a dated and awkward layout, but we made it work and still enjoyed our stay. The location is fairly far from town, with only one restaurant within walking distance. We would stay again, just know it’s quite rustic."
"We spent 3 nights and 4 days during spring break and with our family and friends, everything was so convenient and onsite. Yosemite was just a couple of miles away and a lot of fun activities in the lodge itself for the kiddos and family. They give out bikes for a trial behind at no cost. If you have a 4-5 year old, take a small bike along. Rest they can provide. Also had fun activities like rock climbing. You can still drive down nearby for fun food and restaurants or DoorDash (glamping). But still get to spend all day hiking at the falls or the trees. Overall, well worth it. Our friends a few years ago did a whole cottage. We just got rooms next to each other and kids were able to hang out in the evenings. Staff was very considerate and accommodating. All in all, highly recommend! I’ll probably go back again to explore more. "
"The cabin was really nice, but few things were different from what was listed in the property description: they advertised as “no towel”, but was plenty of towels (REALLY appreciated). And then they advertised as the oven is there, but is NOT! There is a microvawe, but not a oven.
Beside that, the lady at the check-in was very nice, helpful and kind.
The parking spot right in front of the cabin is just perfect after a long day.
The cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay!"
"Such a cool idea for lodging. The club house was warm and stylishly homey, and the drinks were strong. We didn’t eat the food, but it looked tasty. Our trailer was clean and well organized. They aren’t like regular airstreams inside, as they have been stripped of some of the more camping style equipment like kitchen things. Lots of fun! "
