"This was our second stay at Adelphi. Room was extremely spacious and clean. Definitely our go to place while spending the night in Christchurch."

"We had a wonderful stay. Rick was very welcoming, he gave us great tips for our travels and was a very friendly guy! The accommodation itself was perfect for our needs, clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely coffee and a fab jet bathtub too."

"An exposed wire on the electrical cord for the in house coffee making machine was not noticed by cleaning staff but we saw it immediately when wanting to make a coffee, but luckily, the whole coffee making machine was quickly replaced by management. The toilet seat was misaligned to almost being broken in the Peacock suite. The bathroom shower leaked at the door with water making both the bathrooms floor mat sodden, and also a potential slip on the wet tiles."

"Fabulous hosts, great location, easy 10min walk to city centre. Casino is 2 min walk. Lovely rooms, always our go to when visiting Christchurch."

"What a fantastic stay at The George! The room was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I especially appreciated the gluten-free options available, which made my stay much easier and more enjoyable. Having access to a laundry room was another great convenience during my travels. The location is perfect for walking, with wonderful paths and beautiful surroundings to explore. "Good location and close to Victoria Rd eateries. Bathroom a bit small and no dish washer. Otherwise okay for stays. It has lifts to fist and second floors for easy access to rooms."

"Parking tight as motel was full. Close to casino and town. TV options poor. Says SKY but very limited. Staff noisy around 7:30am. No consideration if you want a sleep in. "
