"Excellent staff , a lot of activities. Beautiful landscape , hiking, swimming, biking, boating. And much much more. Great for families. Free coffee, water. Go online check at the pictures. Don’t expect a hotel it’s a camp. Close to Bolton Landing for restaurants and see all the activities offered. We are returning with the family. 5 stars"

"Our room was really spacious but with an older bathroom. Previously we had a smaller room with updated bath. Both were clean and well stocked. The staff are warm and friendly, and they even had a 4th of July barbecue for the guests. Convenient location right on the Main Street of town."

"We stayed for two nights. The television did not work due to a storm that passed by before we got there. There was no cereal for the kids. For the price we paid, I would have expected a better selection of items for breakfast."

"The workout room was better than average. Multiple machines, one was out of commission. Needs a weight rack. The breakfast room was often out of items, eg no fruit or yogurt. Worst issue was pool room equipment room malfunction made it hard to sleep one night."

"I stayed at Alpine Lodge for two nights and paid over $700 for what was advertised as a "Superior King" room. Don't be fooled by the name—this is essentially a regular, modest motel room. There is no reception desk. When you arrive, you can't even access your room until you receive a text or email with a link, complete the online registration, and then wait for the door code. "It is a perfect place to sense of small-town New York. And just across the road there is a short walk to Schroon Lake which is marvellous as it is lined by trees that are close to 100 feet high. Beautiful lake view with a small, sandy beach. Owners are delightful to speak with. Very pleasant experience."
