"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. "Exceptional 3 star hotel, evening meal menu excellent value (3 courses £30) and the food was really very good. We drove with with a dog and there was no surcharges for car or pet. We could eat in the lounge area with the dog. Room was a good size and very comfortable and clean Staff were friendly and helpful We will definitely stay here again"

"Alles was heel proper, de kamers op het gelijkvloers leken al een make over gehad te hebben, de kamers op bovendieping nog niet. Er is geen lift aanwezig, dus als je slecht te been bent, beter beneden boeken. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het restaurant er vlak naast, deze was dik in orde, niet super uitgebreid maar wel voldoende keuze. Personeel steeds super behulpzaam en vriendelijk!"

"Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area. Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away. Very friendly and polite staff. Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality. Can’t comment on the pool, spa or gym facilities as we did not use them. The hotel ceilings as well as the room we stayed in...
