Sixties Ramblas

"Our stay at Sixties was a nice, comfortable one. Each room is unique in its own way as each floor is themed and each room is dedicated to someone part of Barcelona’s history. Saying this, I think each room has its own pros and cons; for example, the room me and my boyfriend were in had the air con directed facing the wall so didn’t particularly circulate very well so we were both struggling to sleep comfortably especially in the humidity, whilst my parents’ room had the air con facing the entire room so circulated very well. The reception and bar staff were really lovely and helpful; Jacob and Fatima on reception were really nice on our check in and every day after that - they gave us great recommendations around the city, particularly food spots which we all really enjoyed! I would suggest skipping the breakfast option here, even though the breakfast was nice, the restaurant is open to the public as well which we didn’t realise until our first morning when trying to find a table for breakfast but all tables inside and outside were taken and not all by hotel guests. Overall, I would recommend Sixties to anyone who would like a nice and easy stay very close to the centre."

"Great place to catch a train as is next to the station. Pool was refreshing. It is a Marriot chain, so if you are looking for the Spanish experience, recommend the Sagrada Família or Gothic area."
