"We had a 2 bedroom / 2 ensuite apartment with 180 degree waterfront and beach views. Loved the sound of the rolling waves on the shore, but sadly a few hoons used the road in front as a drag strip. The apartment furniture was a little dated, but bathrooms and bed were top notch. It was also immaculately clean. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Russell ferry and shops. Superb friendly welcome with advice what to do in the surrounding area and was so accommodating. Quiet season (winter) but...

"Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. "Firstly we were upgraded which was appreciated , but unfortunately the heat pump didn’t work and it was freezing , eventually a heater was found ,but then the shower drain was blocked and the bathroom flooded into the bedroom , however staff were super quick to come and unblock the drain and mop up the mess."
