We had a great time at Hotel Alane. We stayed for 5 nights and had a room with a balcony. The room is extremely clean and they even gave us a mini fridge upon request. The staff were incredible, I would definitely stay again. Very walkable to attractions and 2 mins away from two of the largest train station. The only cons: the showers were small and had mold, and the wifi speed was limited. That all didnt take away from our experience, we still had a great time! Thank you Hôtel Alane Team.

My partner and I had to change rooms twice because of ants, but no one put up a fuss about it. The staff were really kind and helpful, so I can't even be mad about it. They even offered us a free breakfast the following morning for the inconvenience. We did travel in the spring, so it is not so bad that ants were coming out, but we just didn't want them to infest our luggage.

Really nice receptionists and cleaner made up the room every day. Came back every night to a clean room. Please tip the cleaner when you visit as they made an effort. Small details made it so lovely. If you are a light sleeper bring earplug. I read some review so I came prepared:)

Best part of this location everyone is with walking distance-10min all transportation services train , metro bus Also lots of dining options around the corner But rooms are extremely small with a tiny restroom, hotel does not allow more than two persons in a room that’s kid included, partial view but is good, first floor a bit loud, All makes it up to the lotion perfect

Great budget hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The street below could be a bit noisy with traffic but the hotel is in a great location close to the metro station and plenty of restaurants.

Thanks to the staff for making the stay rather pleasant. The condition of my room was excellent and very clean. I was impressed with the general decoration, and the shower was lovely too. The room is quite small, but everything is small in Paris... And I didn't go to Paris to stay in the room so the size wasn't a problem. Would go again 🙂

Good location, clean, but bad smell
Pros: friendly and helpful staff; comfortable bed; clean linens/floors etc; location was really good because of proximity to metro lines that go through central areas of Paris. Cons: really noisy as the hotel is next to the road (and this is coming from someone who’s a bit deaf!); the bathroom smelt - although clean and otherwise good condition, there was clearly a plumbing issue as it smelt like a sewer.

The location of the hotel, in the center of Paris near Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, makes that sometimes there is traffic noise in the street, but our windows are double glazed, so with close windows we don’t hear any sounds from the outside. Regarding the bathroom smelt,our reception is open 24/24h, you could ask our receptionist, it’s his job to make sure that your stay is the best as it could be. We hope to see you soon in Paris! First and foremost, the staff was all incredible but that’s about the only good part. The WiFi doesn’t work in the hotel. In 2023 that’s a massive problem. Also, my room only had one outlet that wasn’t close to the bed. The hotel isn’t in the safest area either. I definitely would not recommend this place. Sorry.

Good value for money, easy access transportations.
Good location, easy access to train and metro, clean rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly and professional reception stuff. Room may feel small for 2 person. The shower is small but I was able to fit as an almost 2m man. The hotel is located on a busy area, so even though the windows are sort of sound proof bring your earplugs for a better sleep. In overall a very good stay for the price paid. It exceeded my expectations.

Regarding the heater, as you found the first room we gave you too cold, we gave you another room the day after your arrival. We checked the heater and it seems to work properly. Great place!
This was our second time staying at the Hotel Alane. The room was nice and very clean. A bit small but it’s Paris, we expect that. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Close to Gare du Nord and many restaurants and bars in the area. Definitely stay there again.

A very nice conveniently located hotel .
It is conveniently located hotel . Just around the corner of gate de Est and close to gate du Nod. Every front desk was polite and helpful and accommodating . Room was small but clean and the bathroom is the right size for a one person or 2 people stay . Will definitely consider staying at this hotel next time coming to Paris .

Great Location
This hotel is just steps from Gare de L’Est and I really enjoyed staying in this area because it is not as crowded as more touristy locations. Plenty to eat and drink nearby and enjoyable walking. The room was fairly small with two twins that were close enough it felt like we were sharing a bed. I didn’t mind that, but the beds were hard as a rock and I had trouble sleeping. The room was cute, but what I didn’t like was the bathroom. On one side of the entrance was a room with just a toilet and it was the size of a public bathroom stall. On the other side was a room with a sink and shower, and it was a little bigger, but I barely had room to do anything in there! Otherwise, decent hotel.

I liked the property as it was close to restaurants and to both train stations Gare Nord and Gare de l’’Est. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfect for 2 people.
