"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. ...

"Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater. The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road . we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful . A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening .
