"The hotel benefits from an excellent location just across the street from the Quicentro shopping centre and all of its cafes and restaurants. It is a great spot to start exploring the city and is in a generally safe area. There are security guards outside the property and overall you will find that this is a safe hotel. The property is a good size, with 136 bedrooms so it is a nice intimate space with about 14 rooms on each floor meaning this is not a bustling and chaotic hotel, which is great. The rooms are well maintained and the room I stayed in benefitted from a very comfortable king size bed and a great walk in shower. The hotel is definitely very comfortable and offers a great 24 hour reception. This is definitely the best hotel in this area of Quito. This remains one of the best overall and I would put this 3rd place overall in the city, just behind the JW Marriott and Swissotel Quito, but this certainly offers a better area to stay than the other two which are not in the best areas."

"The hotel was great - close to shops and right across the street from La Carolina Park. My only complaint was that there were so many taxis outside that you could smell gas fumes when eating in the restaurant. There was also a party with very loud music until 1am which made it impossible to sleep. Security was excellent. I recommend this hotel."
