"We really loved our two night stay at the inn. The innkeepers were super welcoming and attentive. The original (quirky?) decor was both personal and a welcome relief from boring corporate chain hotels or stuffy “colonial” inns. Our bed was comfy and we had a room with a loveseat, so we could relax there while watching TV. Chef/co-owner Mark Arnao makes a mean breakfast, so don’t skip the chef’s special! "Food was options were limited. I ordered brisket and received rubbery steak chunks with cold mashed potatoes paired with rubbery string beans. The pool wasn't heated and closed so early there was nothing to do unless you wanted to gamble the entire time. Also, I felt as if I wasn't welcomed by the “other guests” the entire visit. "It is a magical and unique place, of course this is not for everyone, it is a place that transports you to 60 and I loved that, I would appreciate a little more maintenance but that does not steal the magic and speaking of magic when we arrived at 10 pm we were a little scared around, but when we entered everything changed and we spent two incredible nights we enjoyed nature and the natural air, the birds and all that the lake super delicious, anyway I liked it"

"The 2nd shift staff were amazing. The young one the next morning was rude. Called the front desk to ask about breakfast times. He answered the phone with "what do you want?" Then when i asked where breakfast was located he told me it's over in 4 min. I told him that's not what i asked. My kids were in there eating. "
