"The door key every single time I went from the lobby to the room had a reset, when I checked in door, keys and work air-conditioning didn’t work every time I come to this hotel it gets worse"

"No coffee. Old outdated rooms. TVs did have Chromecast and WiFi was excellent. Gym staff were rude. Any other newer hotel like Holiday Inn Suites, Express or Hampton would be better. Not sure why anyone would book here. It's far away from everything."

"The staff tried charging me $20 to open a $12 bottle of wine. I was gambling $100-300/hand on blackjack and got a bottle of wine to take up to my room and couldn’t get anyone to open it for me. Tried buying an opener in the store there on site and they didn’t sell them. I had just spent $140 on a bar tab while watching the World Cup game and planned to take three buddies there for a steak dinner that night and would’ve spent $400-500 I’m sure. I’ve booked 18 rooms there in the last four months....

"Centrally located in San Jose. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms and a great roof-top restaurant. Staff was very helpful. A bit difficult to find because the sign is hard to see, but otherwise a safe and comfortable place to stay in downtown, close to restaurants and shops, as well as the National Museum."

"The guy who let us in was super friendly and helpful with how to use the keys. We felt very safe and welcomed. It is a very walkable neighborhood and close to a strip of bars that offer plenty options of food, so you will never be bored. Amazing place to stay!"

"Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced. Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English."

This place looks like a Museum with hundreds of paintings and sculptures, something very enjoyable. I even visited other floors in order to look at more art work. The only things I did not like: the breakfast. Even though the food was fresh, it was boring and there was definitely not enough choice. "The grounds garden and pool were very beautiful and clean. The restaurant was amazing and included a full bar. They even had a space that allowed the dog to dine with us. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and water pressure in the shower was great! We would stay again."
