"The room was very spacious, clean, and the location was great. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel staff were wonderful, they had great recommendations on where to ear and what to do. I would highly recommend this hotel, I would definitely come back when visiting Salem again."

"The microwave in the room had an inside that was peeling off and dangling. It had clearly not been checked in a very long time. The bathtub backed up when I used the shower and was up to my ankles. There were no tissues in the tissue box or body wash, or conditioner in the shower. When we walked into the room it smelled like someone had been smoking. We arrived after 6pm and there was still no room ready and when we inquired they said they were "short staffed", however no one called me to tell...

"The petite black lady at the front desk was extremely efficient and very courteous. I wish I had her name but I forgot to ask . She had the most pleasant smile and was very helpful."

"I would say the only improvement needed would be to insulate the doors, or find better room doors because every time someone came down the hall and they talked they might as well have been standing in the room with me…..it was loud and at 10pm, that is not pleasant. Other than that everything else was great."

"Our air conditioning quit working in our room half way through our trip. They did fix it right away. Which was good I pulled the 2 dressers apart and found food and crumbs, it was nasty. Parking for $20 a night was absurd Our TV remote also needed new batteries. Overall I felt like the room needed some more time spent doing a thorough cleaning job. The staff was quick and polite about getting our AC and remote problems solved. Perks, were the breakfast, location, and staff."

"Very disappointing and absolutely not deserving of a four-star rating. The entrance and lobby give the impression of a fancy hotel, but the room was outdated, with old furniture, low-quality bedding, and cheap-looking accessories. We stayed for four nights. On the second night, we found a cockroach on the bed. I reported it to the front desk, but the only response was, “Thanks for letting us know.” The following day, we found two more cockroaches in the bathroom coming from underneath the...

"I enjoyed my break the staff went above and beyond making my wife and i welcome lovely lady in reception ,breakfast was ok plenty coffee and pool was excellent our room was huge with everything you need also a costco next door which was handy dissapointed there was no bar as we are scottish need a car here as we spent a fortune on taxis to boston"

"This hotel was very clean, quiet and in a great location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I did not eat in the restaurant but did get a nightcap and sat outside which was very pleasant. I'd book there again!"

"It's "okay". Clean enough but a strong scent of a sweet bubble gum type cleaner. Front staff "just friendly enough" not helpful or engaging. No smile or conversation. Hotel itself is older, some mold in the shower and the cap fell off the shower head as I was showering. Comfortable bed and big tvs. It was fine but I would choose elsewhere next stay."

"Great location. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly. The girl working the desk in the morning was a bit out of sorts. Obviously she didn’t want to be there working. But she was a Gen Z, so par for the course. Otherwise, nice hotel with a good breakfast."
