"Everything was great"

"I chose to book this place in Athens in part because of their shuttle service. I arrived when it was already dark. Before my flight to Athens, I sent a message through Expedia. They replied asking for additional details, which I provided, but I never received a response. I sent several follow-up messages and still did not hear back. There was no available WhatsApp number to contact. After arriving in Athens, I had to find someone who would allow me to make a call using a local number, as I am a tourist and do not have a Greek phone number. The woman who answered was very unpleasant and claimed that I had not sent any messages, despite my explanation of the situation. She eventually sent me information on how to contact them via WhatsApp and provided written instructions on how to reach the shuttle meeting point. I followed the directions as best as I could, but I was unable to locate the place—the sign was small and not visible. When I called her again, she was impatient and unhelpful. Fortunately, she gave me the driver’s number. He answered calmly and tried to assist me. When he realized that I was lost, he went out of his way—leaving his passengers—to come find me on foot, brought me to the correct location, carried my bags, and helped me as much as he could. For that, I am very grateful."

"The shuttle was great but the airport signage was poor. The property was better than we had envisioned and a great place for an overnight stay. "

"We ONLY booked this place because we had an unexpected layover in Athens that required an overnight stay and we had to be back at the airport at 5AM. We selected this “hotel” mainly because airport shuttle service was supposedly included in the rate. Communication prior to arrival was a disaster, and things only went downhill from there. The shuttle driver LEFT US at the airport because the directions that we were given by the hotel were not accurate and we could not find where the shuttle was allegedly parked waiting for us. We ended up having to pay over $100 Euro to get to the office just to get keys. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and not understanding at all. I was in tears and had to walk outside and leave my husband to deal with her. We also had to pay additional money because we had 4 people in our group-even though we booked a room that accommodates 4 guests. To add insult to injury… When we went back outside I saw the driver of the shuttle that was supposed to pick us up sitting next to his vehicle (which I was able to identify from the plate number) smoking a cigarette without a care in the world. Not helping other guests…just gawking at us. When we finally got to the unit, it was a hovel. It is in an industrial-type office building (completely FAKE website photos). I would not even shower in this room. 0/100. Do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money for a hotel in the beautiful city center and get a taxi or uber to and from the airport. "

"Absolutely loved our stay . It was everything we were wanting , a lovely little sojourn near airport in a tranquil local country setting . Owner was delightful , staff so kind and courteous . Taxi service outstanding. Home cooked meal available, loved that ! We slept last two nights before flying home after a busy trip and just wanted quite affordable by airport . Thank-you to all the lovely staff and pets that made our stay so enjoyable :)))"

"Obviously the location of the hotel and the hotel condition was great. But their is big problem with the service in the hotel. At breakfasts when we order anything except open buffet we never receive it, and we left without eating anything two morning.Afternoon we asked for drinks and they look after us after 45 mins, while checkout we asked for buggy and help it didn’t came. This is high priced hotel, and it should not be like that."

"Breakfast was ok. Some items were not very warm. There are limited amenities in winter. Our toilet had blue cleaner on arrival, but had not been scrubbed based on fesces stuck to bowl. There was a bare wire sticking out of the bathroom wall. The entire place smelled stale."
