We did asked a request before booking a hotel and did remind them after we booked a hotel rooms . GOT LATE CHECKIN AND NOT MERGE A BED AS PER REQUEST. While we waiting for a room we using a swimming pool and and a lunch at the pool we did mentioned staff upon checkin that if the room is ready please kindly hand the room key to us at the swimming pool as we gonna be in the pool. Staff was called me but how can i know that the room is ready when l’m in pool. Feel a bit disappointed. Our 1 years old boy need to hanging around pool at 13.00-16.00 hrs with the 35 c.

Staying in a double room it took two days of requesting to get two chairs in the room. The balcony light didn't work and was never repaired. The wardrobe light and one of the lights by the bed didn't work. The wardrobe door and the window blind were broken.

Big hotel, immense pool, good value.
The hotel is tucked in behind The Avenue shopping-center, so it feels a bit out-of-the-way, but it's still convenient. My room (723) was nice and big, with a balcony and a view that included a glimpse of Bangkok Bay. It had ample storage for my luggage, clothes, and "stuff" (important because I'm a scuba-diver, and bring my own gear). I could have used some brighter lights, though, and a room on a lower floor might have had better water pressure for the shower. It was interesting that the bathroom was on the outside wall, next to the balcony, but that was a great help when I had to rinse and dry my scuba-gear after my dives; I didn't have to carry dripping gear the length of the room. The swimming pool is IMMENSE, and there's a play area for the kids by the shallow area (bottom right in their pool picture) that includes a big sandy-beach sandbox. Their dining room has a buffet breakfast, but I didn't find it all that great a value at 390 baht (I didn't get it included with my room). It was a nice place to stay, comfortable and convenient, and I'll stay there the next time I'm in Pattaya.

Balcony on the corner suites has a very narrow area to get to the seating area so if you suffer from vertigo you cannot use it on the higher floors. Wifi speeds were the worst I have encountered in any hotel I have stayed in. Bathroom and shower area in these suites is very small.

Still a very good little hotel in pattaya .very central location but set back from the main noisy streets.kept very well considering it's not a new hotel,needs minor upgrading.main issue is not really enough sunbeds for hotel guests at peak times they reserve!

I liked the location as it was central so it was easy to get around. I had booked two rooms,one room had a broken patio door lock,no patio chairs and only one chair in the room. All the problems were solved promptly but it should not have happened in the first place. The property needs some renovation and I would not recommend it for families with children as they have large tour groups every day.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. They have a great big swimming pool, an ideal place to relax during the day. My only complaint is it’s very noisy, early in the morning. Also they should put tables and chairs on the balconies.

The room was not clean and quite old. Breakfast was not delicious. But staffs service was good. They were willing to help.

What was unique that everything was close What we didn’t like was we didn’t have: 1) iron/board 2) refrigerator worked when it wanted to work 3) very cheap with the towels 4) we always had to ask them to clean our room & I think they could have gave us a better room 5) and it was some type of smell that kept coming into our room But overall the Mercure was a perfect location to all the places we needed to go & staff was ok especially this one staffer Mr Chat I think that was his name was very helpful
