"3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

"Our stay was ok. However the mattress in our room, the springs were gone which caused me to be quite uncomfortable throughout our stay and caused me to have pain in my hips. We then also didn't have a plug for our bath and were given a spare one that then also didn't fit the bath. "I stayed here with colleagues whilst attending a corporate golf day. Whilst we ate in the Clubhouse at the organisd BBQ, the food was extremely well prepared and tasted good. The hotel rooms were very clean, fairly spacious with adaquate refreshments on offer. I've stayed here several times and the price reflect the standard of what you get."
