"We just completed a marvelously pleasant stay at this hotel. We were finishing a one month circuit of western France and some of the hotels we stayed at were, well, kind of meh. "Lovely 3 star hotel in a great location, just a couple blocks from Place Comedie, is a quiet oasis The entire staff couldn’t be nicer and are all patient and gracious with my attempts to speak French. The breakfast is very nice too, with great coffee, delicious small pastries and local jams and honey. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends when visiting Montpelier "

I managed to navigate the stressful 'check in' system - which involves standing in the street and scanning a QR code and then filling in a form - by emailing to ask for the access code in advance which they were happy to oblige. "Chambre impeccable. Cependant odeur d’humidité. Et bien trop chauffée. Pour le petit dej c’est dommage de devoir commander précisément la veille ce que l’on veut au petit déjeuner. Dommage que ça ne soit pas possible de petit déjeuner avant 7h30. Et dommage d’attendre ensuite la préparation de son petit dej. Quand on est pressés pas idéal."

"The hotel is very well situated, right in front of the train station. They have parking at €25 per might, but you need to reserve as they have very few spots. The room was fine, clean, but there was some kind of not very clean smell. But overall fine."
