The rooms at the surfhouse were clean and the kitchen has everything including a view of pavones. A lot of woodwork and art at the surfhouse and plenty of room for surfboards. "It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way there is a bit rustic so be sure to have a 4 by 4 and come during the day so you can see the nature while driving. You cant go wrong. "
