The perfect rest stop. Wonderful hosts and the breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and warm bread. Highly recommend.

It’s a beautiful property. We were very late to check in but were received well. beautiful surroundings. Wish we could extend our stay but had to travel.

Lovely welcome. Pool and sauna a bonus. Comfortable bed and good sized room. The owner gave a very good recommendation for a local restaurant and explained where to park and how to find it. All in all a lovely stay.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. The patron was very helpful but it would have been nice if he spoke just a tiny bit of anglais. We muddled through with my tiny bit of schoolboy french and many gestures. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped, it was a case of working everything out for myself. The communal lounge was pleasant enough but little used as the fire had a mind of it's own, it was only on once briefly during my 5 night stay, and the wi-fi didn't work in that area which was a...

The host is super friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was extraordinary. The only thing I would wish to be improved is the kitchen. Cooking on a small and single gas is very slow and not so effective. Overall the stay was superb..🙂🙂

It was really great to walk into the hotel with air conditioning during France's "heat wave". Our room was nice and cool and good size too. It looked like redecorated fairly recently. The double bed was generous size and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and good size too. The reception staff was friendly and very helpful. This was a wonderful discovery! Beautiful tranquil setting with a charming host. The property is accessible via a quaint forest road. Having meals on our veranda overlooking the lake was a wonderful break. Dinner was perfect (4-course), and breakfast fresh and included lovely pastries and or course a gorgeous Frech croissant, the perfect start to a day in the charming French countryside.

This is a splendid stone mansion refurbished by the owner’s own hand to the highest standards. The combination of ancient building and modern facilities is a triumph and the work of the very friendly owner deserves to be appreciated.

A lovely place to have an overnight, really unique. We loved staying here, the standard of the accommodation exceeded all our expectations, it was cosy, warm, spacious and super clean.
