"We stayed one night in this hotel. The room rate was reasonable, good location and easy to park. The staff are friendly and helpful. The property itself could do with a good clean and perhaps refurbished, such as wash the carpet and replace some the damaged flooring, repair the lift, apart from that, for what we paid for the room, it was not bad at all. I would stay at this place again if I come down to Brighton."

"Wonderful hotel, the person who checked me in was very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and being able to see the sea from the room was an unexpected plus. Really liked the unique and fun decor. Location ideal on the sea front. Bathroom had all the required amenities. Would recommend to family and friends."

"Absolutely fantastic just wished we could have stayed another night. I’m super giddy and I could not fault anything at all. The staff were amazing and the best sleep I’ve had in a long time as the bed was incredibly comfortable. We’re already planning our next stay which will be with them."

"Room was fine if a little dark (tiny window). Decor a little tired but bed was really comfortable, good shower, decent breakfast. Fab location on the seafront although with the window open, it was a little bit noisy at night. A nice stay."

The Burlington Hotel

"The Burlington is a nice, friendly, old-fashioned hotel. It's right on the seafront close to the pier and the town centre, and it has it's own car park at the back. We only stayed one night but we're able to park our car there before check in and keep it there till 3pm on check out day, which was helpful. The food was fine (apart from the absence of mushrooms on the breakfast menu) - good portions at dinner and help yourself at breakfast. Our room had been modernised and was very nice - it was like a Premier Inn room but with a softer mattress. We were on the third floor and it's a good thing we didn't mind the stairs because they only had one small lift working, which for a place of this size was inadequate really. The hotel needs some refurbishment in places; this has clearly been happening gradually but it's a big task. The public rooms are spacious and there are two bars plus a dancefloor, which was used when we were there. They had a singer who was pretty good and appreciated by the guests, some of whom were on a coach trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay despite being kept awake by night roadworks outside - not their fault and just bad luck for guests that night. I'd be happy to stay there again but would avoid high summer as there was no air conditioning."

"It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Unfortunately breakfast service was below par and expectations. They had run out of everything for cooked breakfast. The queue ended up getting quite long and I felt sorry for front of house staff who took the brunt of people grumbling. There were people who needed to check out for transport who had to just pick at what little there was."
