"Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return. Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items. Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits. Coffee at breakfast was lovely. "Property is beautiful but needs some maintenance in areas, for instance bathroom floor had grout missing or coming up between the tiles. Sitting area couches are not comfortable. Check in Staff was very good. The Brasseria restaurant was average, food not as expected. Overall, average although would expect better for the cost you pay."

"Good location near the motor way. Food is good near the stay as it is a welcome break but limited options. Room was good neat and tidy. But there is no water available. Tap water is not good for drinking lots of chlorine or other chemicals. Also the bath area was slippery so make sure the area is not wet before you stand for a shower. Overall I do recommend the place because of the convenience of location and beauty of the place nearby."

"On arrival the staff were very friendly we were on the first floor and there was a lift which is good. Our room was a great size and very clean but no Air con so was very hot even with windows open. Bed was a great size and comfortable. The room was very quite no sound from other rooms. Didn't like the bath had no hand rails to get in or out if you wanted a shower and the step into it was quite high there was shampoo but no conditioner and no bags for sanitary pads.
