This resort hotel is exquisite. Perfect design on a stunning coast line with glorious views. It is truly immaculate and one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at.
Cap St George’s is one of the very finest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, anywhere on earth. The staff cannot do enough for you and are attentive without being obsequious: there are multiple pools and opportunities for leisure activities, both organised by the hotel and outside of the hotel. If we return to Pafos, we will certainly stay here again.
This is fast becoming No1 on the island of Cyprus! It might be out of the way of the major tourist destinations, but that’s a good thing! The coastline is stunning with beautiful beaches and great local tavernas. 2nd time to cap St George’s and we will be back!
Nice, new resort, had large room with balcony. The better restaurant is Kohili, the one with sea view. Good service and coffee in the ice cream shop. Problems were: I could hear my neighbors in the next room, there was constant smell of cigarette smoke in the floor's corridor (although couldn't see anyone smoking), the covered parking was used as a furniture repair workshop with strong smell of chemicals.
The hotel on first glance looks amazing. The rooms are excellent, the location is great and overall the hotel is very clean and in good condition.
Having said that, for the price you pay you expect everything to be impeccable. The ceiling in the indoor pool and jaccuzi area was peeling off due to the high humidity. Also the jaccuzi area was rusty which seems like a health hazzard.
The outdoor pool is nice but is quite small
As for the service, we went to the Chrome bar three times and didnt manage to get served once. On the fist occassion there was no one there even though we went during opening hours. And on the other two occassions the server never came to take our order as he did with other tables there, and we were sitting for quite some time.
We recently spent a week-long stay at the hotel, and were delighted with an upgrade to a panorama room, which offered truly amazing views.
The breakfast selection was great with plenty of options.
The hotel features three pools—one main pool and two for children—and generally has plenty of free sun beds. However, travelers visiting in October should be aware that the water can be very cold. We were disappointed that our kids spent little time in the water; we were told the pools could be heated, but that heating doesn't begin until later in the month.
Service was largely excellent: about 90% of the staff were welcoming and nice, though a small portion seemed unenthusiastic. The Kids Club was a highlight—it's amazing and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
If you're traveling with a stroller, note that the hotel is not ideally stroller-friendly. Getting to the beach, for instance, requires taking a longer, indirect route to avoid stairs. While the hotel offers a buggy service, it wasn't always a convenient solution with a stroller.
The small beach promenade is pleasant for morning walks, but is very dark during the evening and could greatly benefit from additional lighting.
We booked the half-board option, but don't recommend it. It essentially converts to a 65 euros per person allowance (drinks excluded) to be used at the on-site restaurants. We believe guests would likely save money by simply paying for meals as they go, rather than taking the half-board package.
