"Great location for someone wanting to be close to Lake Natoma to paddleboard. It’s about 15-20 mins from the mall and the outdoor shops. It’s across the street from historic downtown Folsom. Shops close early but the restaurants and bars are open late. The hotel is old but it has charm. The rooms have always been clean when we stay and the house keeping staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning ladies are always in a good mood and welcoming. There are other hotels a few miles away but...

"There was a little problem with the parking being near a flight of stairs as my aunt uses a waker. A bigger problem was the TV did not work. The electricity was off in the morning. It went off at 6:45am was still off when we left at 10:30am so the was nothing hot including coffee for breakfast. I was told I would recieve a discount due to tv not working. Still have received no refund and it is almost a week."

"The room was dated but clean, bed was not comfortable and for the love of Carl can you please give us more than one pillow that has at least a little integrity? No evelvator so be prepared to take your luggage up stairs. The worst part was we lost power in the middle of the night - not their fault but OOOF! It stayed off all night and all morning. We left very early down a very dark hallway and staircase as there was no way to get coffee or anything. Doubt I would return."

"Rooms are spacious, and the price was low. The rest are all disadvantages. -- no service -- I saw cops many times in my 5-day stay -- loud neighbours -- lots of noisy, teen kids running around in the corridors. I guess the property is rented by some state agency for boarding the kids under the state care I stayed there for the sunk cost. I will not go back."

"The toilet in my room was broken took them four hours to get us in another room we were traveling and paid for three days in advance, trying to get a hold of management was almost impossible"

"Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."
