"This may have been the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Immaculate. The staff were genuinely helpful (getting our bags upstairs, for example.) The excellent breakfast was cooked to order. The buffet had fresh cut fruit, which was a lovely touch. The location was a little out of the way, but the views and the grounds made up for it. We did not stay in the shepherds huts, but they looked really interesting (and super high quality) Excellent for couples."

"Fab hotel - incredible location - superb food - very friendly and helpful staff As a person needing accessible help the gravel is quite difficult to negotiate using crutches I would have preferred to have had a mini fridge and safe in the room These are incredibly minor issues The £5 voucher is a good idea but has flaws in so far as there is no option to have fresh toilet rolls, coffee etc without having to disturb Dee on the welcome desk - who is amazing by the way Thank you for a...

"We had an excellent stay at the Esplanade hotel. It's perfect for a family stay and very near to Fistral beach. Claudia was especially welcoming and loved our little one. The room was very big and the beds were comfy and clean. There were was a great selection of bathroom wash, soap, lotion for adults and also kids too which was a nice surprise. Despite it saying there was no cot for the room when I booked, there was a cot and sheet in the room on arrival. The only downsides in the room were...

"The room was excellent the bathroom a little tired with no separate shower. There was no hot water on one of the mornings. The view from the room/balcony was stunning. The continental breakfast was good although there were no warm croissants. The cooked breakfasts were not very freshly cooked, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. The Bay Bar staff were very pleasant and the food excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it and would stay there again."

"Excellent will definitely be back"

"The bathroom shower did not have a shower mat and the wet surface in the bath made the shower too slippery for my wife to use."
