"Only negative thing I found wrong was the elevator and location. It was slow and small. The stairway needs painted and more lighting added so its not so creepy. The hotel staff and breakfast was really the highlight of the stay. They went above and beyond to help us have a great stay in Topeka. We really enjoyed the breakfast bar. The server was so nice and honestly a joy to talk to."

"I would highly recommend this property. The front desk staff were very kind and insistent. The room was exceptionally clean, the property as well taken care of, and the parking is right outside the door. It is at a corner where there’s a gas station and several food places, including the always available McDonald’s right across from the hotel. I did not breakfast as I was in a hurry. On my way out, but don’t hesitate to stop here if you’re looking for an affordable, easy overnight day."

"We were supposed to check in at 3 PM, however, we were not able to check in until 8 PM. We have very exhausted kids that needed to get to bed. The hotel was severely understaffed. I called several times to see when we can check in and they would never answer the phone. I left a message on their website and they just gave me an automatic reply. I felt bad for the front desk staff. For paying $250 I would expect this from a low-grade hotel. Definitely not worth the money. I would at least...

"Sent to an already occupied room at check-in, which was a major safety concern. The room I was eventually given had mold in the bathroom, hair all over the bedding, bugs in the room, no hot water, almost no water pressure, and the A/C couldn’t keep the room cool. There was even a rock holding the back door open, which doesn’t inspire confidence in security. The staff was friendly and understanding about the issues, but unfortunately the cleanliness, maintenance, and security problems made this...
