There is a charge for the indoor pool, which we were told was 10 but see signs saying 5. The hotel is having building works. People were working as we went to our room. "I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom."

"Communication was a real problem. I wonder if staff were discouraged from trying to understand English. My Italian came from Google translate and even that was a disaster. Staff generally not friendly or helpful. Did not offer to assist bags up or down the hotel steps for guests in their senior years. WiFi practically useless. Kept dropping out "

"My wife and I stayed here after a very long flight filled with cancellations and delays. We needed a place to rest and recharge. The hotel is beautiful and well kept, the staff were courtesy and accommodating. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed . The pool area was beautiful with a nice little bar. Overall is was a great stay for a few days and would definitely recommend for a few days."
