"If you come to visit the Douro because of the Port wine culture, then this property won't disappoint you. Five generations of viticulturalists have lovingly developed this beautiful Pousada over the centuries and as you go through the property, it oozes charm. We loved our spacious and beautifully appointed room, including generous breakfast. The in-house Port wine tasting included vintage, 40- and 60 year old ports and was truly insightful. Add a dinner with authentic dishes and a few walks...
