"The room doors are chipped and have splotches. The elevators sound questionable. My shower curtain lining had some type of white thick substance like shaving cream or something on it. My friends room had bedding that wasn’t changed and no shower curtain. Regular upkeep/maintenance doesn’t seem to be a priority here. If you just need a place to sleep that is very close to Busch Gardens, it’s cool. But if you have a preference for a place that cares about appearances as well as comfort please...

"Great experience at this lovely historic inn. Close to Yorktown and all the sights. Would definitely go back again. Comfortable beds and pillows, restful nights, great breakfasts. Love it!"

"Outside door to my room was damaged like someone try to break in!! A piece door was missing ! Phone In room Wasn’t working! Employee Was useless and didn’t take her job serious"

"Grumpy front desk staff on all shifts. Room keepers were great though - super friendly. At one point I came down to meet a pizza delivery person and the front staff lady looked at me rudely and came up to me to make sure I had a room there even though she saw me come down the elevator. Not the cleanest, a pretty run-down Mariott that has seen better days."
