"For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. "Chose this hotel due to recent positive reviews. Disappointed on arrival. Luckily the reception, dining room and bar were much better than the external building which looked neglected. Our bedroom was like the black hole of calcutta.(204) Large room, but very dark with a small window on to a roof with a noisey ventilation extraction unit.
