The restaurant was excellent, with plenty of traditional Bavarian meals and some fantastic steaks. Having Augustiner on tap was the perfect bonus. The location is hard to beat – right at the southern tip of Lake Starnberg and within easy reach of the German Alps. It’s a great base for exploring the area or simply enjoying the scenery. Breakfast was another highlight, and that’s saying something as I’m not usually a breakfast person!"
