Phillip Island Wildlife Park
Phillip Island Wildlife Park
About an hour drive south of Melbourne, a wonderful wildlife reserve (not a zoo), where Kanagroos, Wallabies and all sorts of local animals roam free. Feeding them is an amazing experience.
I took a couple of friends to Phillip Island as they'd never been before - one was from NZ and the other from the U.S. We headed to the Nature Park and had the enjoyment of feeding this guy! He's the biggest we found there and a little daunting when you compare him to the little wallabies. Be prepared to be followed around by the emus too - they're also keen for a feed!
