Best place to stay in Surin Beach; warm, welcoming and friendly staff, who is always available to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are space and clean; and have just about everything you could need to be comfortable. The beach, shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance. The location is also close by to most beach clubs for entertainment. Lots of options of local things to do and “tourist activities” close by. Great for families especially. Highly recommend this hotel if you visit.

Im sure that at 1 time, this was a beauty of a hotel. Not anymore. The supposed king mattress was nothing more than a worn out coil apring mattress that left circles on my back and hips. Air conditioning and electricity only works while you are in the room, you have to insert a key card into slot on the wall. This card is attached to room key and cannot be seperated, so when you leave room you turn off electric and air conditioning. Try spending 6 hours on the beach in 90 deg weather and coming back to a HOT hotel room. No staff in restaurant or bar, it appears meals may be ordered from a 2nd location. No hot water first day Furniture was all laminate and peeling off. Staff says beach 300meters from hotel, more like 3000 meters I stayed 4 days and saw 1 other guest. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. 1 🌟 is too good of a review

The service at this hotel was disappointing. Our room was not ready at check-in, and when we finally received it, it was still dirty. There was trash left in the cabinets, baby handprints smeared on the windows and mirrors, trash in the shower, and the bathtub was filled with standing water. After reporting these issues, housekeeping came and addressed some, but not all, of the problems. During our five-day stay, we were not provided with daily housekeeping service. When we requested clean towels, they were not available. Overall, the cleanliness and level of service did not meet expectations.

Hotelli itsessään rauhallinen, matkaa rannalle mutta hotellista kuljetus. Aamiainen vaatimaton ja siivouksen taso ei isompien hotellien tasoa, näkyy paikallinen omistus. Mutta haimme rauhaa ja aurinkoa ja sitä saimme...joinakin päivinä saimme hotellin uima-altaan täysin itsellemme! Maaliskuun loppu muutenkin hiljaista turistien osalta joten Bangtao Beach oli myös hyvin rauhallinen.

The rooms were musty and dirty, no utensils are given and very poor hotel service. Breakfast is extremely limited, location is hard to get to and sheets are obviously not changed for a long time. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL, EVEN IF THE PRICE IS CHEAP. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT.

Off the beaten path.

This property is a condominium building that owners sublet to the hotel. It is pretty new and spacious and clean. The kitchen was of no use because there were no dishes, silverware, pans, no microwave, just a fridge. The area is quiet and very peaceful - a neighborhood of nice new houses. The trade off for this seclusion is that you'll need a taxi to get anywhere and they're a bit expensive, plus you can't just pop into the hotel during the day. Knowing what I know now, I'd stay near Patong. Also, the restaurant was not that great, but it was low season and the building was empty except for us. I'd recommend this hotel to families with children that want a lot of space, in a nice area with a good pool.

Själva rummen var väldigt stora och "lyxiga". AC:n levde om väldigt mycket så det var svårt att sova på nätterna. Fanns inget varmvatten under hela vistelsen (7 dagar var vi där), så det var att duscha i ljummet vatten. Poolen var i behov av renovering och klorhalten var nog inte som den skulle (sved i ögonen på oss alla om vi dök). Var en ganska bit ner till strand och till restauranger så det gäller att vilja promenera mycket eller helst hyra en vespa så man kan ta sig fram. Vill man vara igång mycket under resan så funkar hotellet okej, men inte så trevligt om man vill ligga mycket vid poolen och bada. Trevlig personal och familjär stämning på hotellet. Inte många som bodde där under tiden vi var där.

chambre spacieuse, hotel au calme a 700 m de Bangtao beach et 1km de Surin beach. chambre tres sale, passage des femmes de ménages pour faire le lit, mais le reste de la chambre n'est même pas balayé, serviettes troués, travaux de construction la journée avec bruits de marteau piqueur a la piscine. petit déjeuner pas la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles. jus de fruits chimiques, fruits trop mur,, heureusement vous pouvez commander des oeufs... et pas possible d'avoir un petit déjeuner avant 8 h pour un départ en excursion. La navette pour la plage n'est pas souvent a l'heure.

Ett hotell med möjligheter som inte säkert infrias

Ett hotell som har stora möjligheter. Rummet vi hade var lyxigt med egen pool på fjärde våningen, dubbla sovrum och badrum, vardagsrum och kök. Men det fanns endast vattenkokare, koppar och glas. Så laga mat gick inte. Frukosten var ok, bättre än väntat. Personalen i reception, särskilt de i ledande ställning kunde vara otrevliga. Att klaga på service eller annat möttes med illvilja. Kommunikation och planering mellan personalen var inte så bra och allt fungerade inte perfekt. Vi mötte också några gäster som lämnade hotellet pga dåligt bemötande och ostädade rum etc. Vi hade dock bra vistelse där. Dock osäkert om vi vill rekommendera hotellet om de inte förbättrar service och bemötande. Vi hade problem med wi-fi, så vi struntade i att använda det. Gratis skjuts till stranden fanns varje timme och hämtning fram till kl 17. Det uppskattades av alla. Vi vill rekommendera Surin beach, särskilt för barnfamiljer.

Hieno viikko Bangtao Tropical Resortissa

Perhematka 3-, 5- ja 8-vuotiaiden lasten kanssa. Majoituimme 2mh-kattohuoneistoon, jossa oma uima-allas ja keittiö. Keittiövälineet saa pyynnöstä henkilökunnalta, me kartoitimme lähialueen ravintolat ja hoidimme ruokailut siten. Hotellin oma keittiö on myös hyvä, yhden testauskerran perusteella =) pihalla valtavan iso uima-allas, jossa sai varsin rauhassa polskia, ei juurikaan asiakkaita nyt tammikuun alussa hotellissa. Aamupala varsin riittävä ja monipuolinen, kaikille jotakin. Huonesiivous toimi hienosti. Henkilökunta hyvin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Hotellista ilmaiskuljetus Bangaton ja Surinin rannoille lava-auton kyydissä. Kävellen kuljimme aina iltaisin jommalle kummalle rannalle ja syömään, ruoka- ja vaatekauppoja molemmissa suunnissa. Pullovesi kuului huoneen hintaan. Lentokenttäkuljetus kesti n. 40min isossa taksissa, tiet ovat mutkaisia, kuoppaisia ja paikoittain hidastetöyssyisiä.

Quite spot at Bangtao Beach

We stayed for 1 night in a 2 bedroom Penthouse room with a pool. The hotel was pretty quiet but the staff service was great. The room was a good size with good amenities. We had 3 kids set up in the second bedroom with a double and an extra single and they had plenty of room. The main bedroom was a great size and from the top floor we could see the Sea. Our only issue was the hardness of the mattresses but it seams this may be a Thailand standard. The hotel offered regular free shuttle service to the beach but you could walk it.

This hotel was very nice, but I swear we were the only people there.. It was a little spooky so I guess overall condition was looking a little run down but in the busy season I think this place would be booming! Lovely location, close to the beach but not to close so you can escape. Staff were very nice and over all I'd stay here again.

Hôtel qui se dit 4 étoiles mais excepté la chambre vaut un 3 étoiles, les chambres sont très très grandes et agréables. Je pense qu il est indispensable de louer un scooter à 250 B , (le prix est le même à l'extérieure de l hôtel). Si vous êtes à pied il y a des navettes pour la plage et les restaurants. La piscine est chaude (sauf celles des chambres avec piscine) mais l'entretien autour laisse à désirer.

Bra hotell med bra service. Tex ingick transport till dom två närmaste standerna, Bang Tao med solstolar och Surin utan solstolar. Tyvärr som oftast i Thailand otroligt hårda sängar! Och många av dom bekvämligheter som listas på hotellet finns inte. Tex, bäddmadrass, kuddmeny, fullt utrustat pentry och lite annat sånt. Mörka gångvägar som delas med fordon, så en ficklampa eller reflexer rekommenderas faktiskt. Stor gemensam pool med behaglig temperatur och pool på rummet i skuggan, så ganska sval. Frukosten var enkel men ok, under lågsäsong val från meny och under högsäsong en buffé med fler val. Söker man lugnet är hotellets perfekt, söker man hålligång så välj ett annat hotell. Många fina restauranger innom gångavstånd bland annat några av Phukets bästa, Palm är värt ett besök. Men även det enklare Nok seafood var mycket bra!

Chambres sublimes et très propres. Seul le petit déjeuner est à revoir car peu en quantité et non varié.
