"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "This is my first time coming to this town and this place that we stay in it. It was in my opinion the best of the best the view, the hospitality and the warmth the owner showed to his guest. I highly recommend it to everyone. "
"Our stay was for 3 solo motorcycle riders. We arrived (1hr late!) during a thunder storm - soaking wet and misrrable. On arrival, the owner was there to point us to the underground car park. Perfect for unloading a bike in the rain. There's even a shortcut to the hotel. The rooms were small but had everything you need for an o ernight stay. Once unpacked, we were shown the laundry room to dry our gear. We chose to eat in the restaurant (€40 each for beers and 3 course meal) and it was very...
"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. This little B&B is convenient to the train station and water walkway. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the company and recommendations. "
"The location is perfect, right on Lake Como with a private beach.
The room is good, bathroom a bit small but convenient. Nice balcony above the water.
Because there is no restaurant at the hotel it would be handy to install a mini fridge and a coffee/tea maker.
In the nearest village is a supermarket, MD, and everything is very cheap. To the other side is a great restaurant, Onnolulu."
"The hotel is for sale and nobody had stayed there recently. He was quite surprised when we turned up. Restaurant shut and no where to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was 2 slices of cake and a coffee. Very expensive for what we got.

"Me and my family stayed here for a week to go to my brother’s wedding up in Belagio. This place is beautiful and the view is also amazing from the dock. Luciano and his wife were very welcoming and accommodated all of our needs as much as they could. Breakfast options was also great. The locals are very friendly , I befriended two of the local business owners around the area as well. The room we stayed in was the biggest one in the top , we loved the sun roofs. Overall the room service was also great. I definitely recommend Don Abbondio. "
"Have you ever seen a beautiful postcard with a perfect shot of the mountains that you imagined yourself staying in. This is it. You can’t really appreciate the beauty of this place unless you stay here. The panoramic views of the mountains and picturesque little villages that surround you will take your breath away. The view is only equalled by the hospitality and work ethic of the host who will go over and above to insure your stay is perfect. Dinner there was delicious and they were easily willing and able to accommodate my wife’s celiac condition by offering gluten free pasta in addition to the regular menu. I will look forward to a day I might be able to come back to this little Heaven on earth. "
